Misty eyes
Relfecting ash-grey clouds in skies
Smothered by a blanket of tears and dust
Snaky leaves reaching high,
Vying, trying to touch
The complex mind of that inner sky
Shoruded by
Capricious grey clouds.
Blue-green river, with green frills
Soft, green lace fluttering in the drizzle
Born out of ground that slides
Gently into the womb
Of those rippling, quiet backwaters
of Paradise.
Long, green grasses lay claim
On the backyard of a house
On the bank of the river, beside the rows
Of gently swaying serenity
Free soul, drifitng over miles of green
Free mind, where blue meets green
Free, in the heartland of beauty
Where the mind relinquishes
Tangled strings
To the past and the future
And lies in contentment, enchantment
In the present
Leaning, resting like the trees,
Looking up at misty skies, the rain
Caressing me
On a velvet carpet of green.
