Monsoon Ray

Now, as that dark, restless cloud threatens the hazy, morning light, 

A wary ray of dawn struggles through, the raging monsoon in its sights, 

Ending its long wait - to illuminate a grey, windy world and shine 

Multi-hued, glistening through drops of dew, leaving the clouds behind.
