Now, her step is strangely attuned
To the south wind's insistent lilt
Critical of every minute aberration
In how a note wants to get free
From the song, and closer to intuition
A light turn in the wind pleads
With those thoughtful eyes
A dangerous focus, she muses,
On acorns too late to chase
It is spring alright, she sighs...
A few winters too late.
